Tylor Megill ($7,600) has pitched 40.2 innings over eight starts. He’s been fantastic with a 29.5% strikeout rate and 2.98 FIP, which is lower than the 3.1 ERA. Megill is averaging 95.7 mph on the fastball and he’s only allowed three home runs so far. The BABIP is .307, so he’s been luck neutral.
Against right-handed pitching, the Yankees strike out at the 10th-highest rate but are boasting the second-best ISO at .211. They are also second in wOBA at .352.
In terms of bullpens, both the Mets and Yankees have a 3.21 FIP, tied for the third-lowest mark in MLB.
I think pitching dominates in this one, so I like the under nine run total. I also like Pete Alonso ($5,700) to get a hold of one to power the Mets to the 3-2 victory.
