The Cleveland Browns have been arguably the most intriguing team of free agency so far after they drafted not one, but two, quarterbacks in the first round of last month’s NFL Draft. Former Oregon signal-caller Dillon Gabriel just finished an early battle with Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders in rookie mini camp, although former Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kenny Pickett is likely to open the season as the team’s starter.
The Browns are coming off a miserable 2024 season in which starting quarterback Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles in October and suffered a setback in January. They went just 3-14, with the worst offense and sixth-worst defense in the NFL, and it’s going to take a lot more than fifth overall pick Mason Graham, their quarterbacks, and wideout Diontae Johnson if they want to work their way back into contention, and it’s no surprise that they have the lowest implied win total of any team.
