With 4:32 left in the first quarter of Sunday’s Game 4 between the Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers, Bennedict Mathurin punched De’Andre Hunter in the midsection, which prompted Hunter to shove Mathurin to the ground.
After a few minutes watching the replays, officials decided to eject Mathurin while assessing technicals to Hunter and Myles Turner, who came to the defense of Mathurin and confronted Hunter.
Thomas Bryant was the direct substitute for Mathurin.
