The NFL Draft is in the rearview, and now it is time to turn towards the upcoming season. This is a look at the best wide receivers in the top tiers and early rounds for 2025 NFL Best Ball drafts.

2025 NFL Best Ball WR Early Round Targets
All of these wide receivers are prime targets for the early round in DraftKings’ $15M Millionaire Best Ball contest.
Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals (ADP: 1.2)
Ja’Marr Chase is coming off a historic season with the Bengals. Chase led the league in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns, also known as the wide receiver triple crown. Since the AFL-NFL merger, only five wide receivers have accomplished this feat: Jerry Rice, Sterling Sharpe, Steve Smith, Cooper Kupp and Ja’Marr Chase. The Bengals had a monumental offseason to keep their offense intact. Chase, Tee Higgins and Mike Gesicki all signed contract extensions, keeping that core of pass-catchers around for at least three seasons with Joe Burrow. Their offense should be one of the best in the NFL again, after leading the NFL in passing last season. Chase is a worthy #1 overall pick in Best Ball drafts. Either Chase or Saquon Barkley should be the first pick in any Best Ball draft, depending on which position you would rather have the top player at.
Puka Nacua, Rams (ADP: 10.3)
Puka Nacua could be due for an incredible season in 2025-26. Nacua only played 11 games because of an injury in 2024-25, but he ended up finishing third in the NFL in receiving yards per game. Nacua averaged 90 receiving yards per game; only Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson had more. He even proved himself in the postseason by going for 97 yards in snowy conditions in Philadelphia against the eventual Super Bowl champions. Former Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp departed the Rams this offseason, leaving no doubt that Nacua is their #1 receiver of the future. The Rams brought in Davante Adams to replace Kupp as the veteran presence on the team, but Nacua will, without a doubt, be their clear top option. Matthew Stafford returned to Los Angeles after speculation that he could be moving on. and this team should be competitive in the NFC again. Since coming into the NFL in 2023, Nacua is fourth in the NFL in receiving yards, and if he stays healthy, he should be a top-five receiver in the NFL this season.
Nico Collins, Texans (ADP: 12.8)
Nico Collins is in the same boat as Nacua heading into this season. Collins missed a big chunk of games last season due to injury. However, when he was on the field, he proved that he is one of the best wide receivers in football. Over the past two seasons, Collins ranks just behind Nacua with the fifth-most receiving yards per game in the NFL. Even when playing alongside Stefon Diggs last season, Collins was clearly the Texans’ best weapon. Diggs left Houston this offseason, and Tank Dell is likely to miss most, if not all, of next season recovering from his knee injury. The Texans acquired Christian Kirk and drafted multiple rookie wide receivers to fill that void. However, that makes Collins the clear alpha wide receiver in that offense. The Texans should improve on the offensive line next year as well, which will help C.J. Stroud significantly. It is all about health with Collins, but if he is on the field, he is a top-six wide receiver in the NFL.
Drake London, Falcons (ADP: 18.8)
Drake London currently ranks tenth in ADP among wide receivers in 2025 Best Ball drafts. Several sophomore wide receivers, Malik Nabers, Ladd McConkey and Brian Thomas Jr. are ranked ahead of London after just one big season. London had Desmond Ridder throwing him passes for each of his first two NFL seasons, and he was still a standout star. Last season, with Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback, London had his real breakout season. He finished the year ranked fourth in the NFL in receiving yards with 1,271. He also ranked in the top ten in the NFL in receptions and receiving touchdowns. London has had quarterback imbalance his whole career and has still proved to be a truly special receiver. This offseason, he can work the whole summer knowing that Michael Penix Jr. will be his starting quarterback all year if he can remain healthy.
In the final two games of the 2024-25 regular season, with Michael Penix Jr. at the helm, London combined for 17 catches, 293 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Those numbers would be nearly impossible to sustain over the course of a season, but if they did, he would have won the wide receiver triple crown, not Ja’Marr Chase. These two clearly already have a great connection and now they have a full offseason to totally build on it. The Falcons have a good selection of offensive weapons to distract defenses, but nobody at wide receiver who would threaten London’s target share. It should be another huge season from Drake London and he should be one of the first picks of the second round in any Best Ball draft.
Garrett Wilson, Jets (ADP: 30.9)
Garrett Wilson ranked 11th in ADP for DraftKings Best Ball contests heading into last season. This season, he ranks 30th in ADP. That is a dramatic drop-off after the season that Wilson had in 2024-25. Despite the wheels coming completely off the tracks with Aaron Rodgers and the Jets, Wilson finished 10th in fantasy points among wide receivers in PPR scoring leagues last season. He finished the season ranked 7th in the NFL in receptions despite Rodgers being a disaster and the Jets bringing in Davante Adams to be Rodgers’ new favorite target for the second half of the season. Adams is gone, making Wilson the clear alpha receiver on the Jets once again. The Jets also brought in Wilson’s former college teammate, Justin Fields, as their new quarterback. Fields has his limitations, but he was playing sound football in Pittsburgh to start last season before Russell Wilson returned from injury. They also have a great connection from their college days and should mesh faster than the average QB-WR duo would. Wilson is the most underrated receiver in Best Ball drafts at the moment. He should have an even better season than he did last year with Adams out of the picture and more stability in the organization without Rodgers, Saleh and Nathaniel Hackett.
