The Monster, Naoya Inoue, the Undisputed Super Bantamweight Champion, will defend his titles against Ramon Cardenas at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 4. Rafael Espinoza faces Edward Vazquez for the WBO Featherweight Title in the co-main event. The two fight Main Card airs live on ESPN+ AT 10:00 p.m. ET.
Inoue, 32, is 29-0 with 26 knockouts in his career and is highly regarded as a top-three pound-for-pound boxer in the world. This is Inoue’s first fight in Las Vegas since June 2021. Inoue is a huge -5000 favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Cardenas is +1500.
Inoue has won 18 of his previous 19 fights by knockout and has established himself as one of the best power punchers in boxing. According to CompuBox, Inoue is No. 1 in punches landed per round, and No. 2 in jabs, power punches, and connection percentage among pound-for-pound fighters.
Espinoza is 26-0 with 22 knockouts in his career. This will be his third defense of the WBO Featherweight championship. Espinoza has won two straight fights and nine of his previous 10 by knockout. He is a -1100 favorite to retain his title, as Vazquez is +650. He is fighting Vazquez, who is 17-2 and has won two fights in a row after his second defeat in 2023.
The main card begins on ESPN+ at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, and the Main Event ring walks are scheduled to start at 11:00 p.m. ET.
