The energy in this Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers series has been dire. Damian Lillard’s brutal injury luck crushed Milwaukee’s vibes. All signs pointed to a gentleman’s sweep. The Bucks fought extremely hard only to watch their lead collapse at the end of overtime as Indiana prevailed 119-118 on a Tyrese Haliburton game-winner.

The Bucks came out firing with a 30-13 first quarter, but Indiana slowly pulled itself back, eventually forcing overtime. Of course, they were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,300, 84 FPTS) and his monster 30-point, 20-rebound, 13-assist night. Gary Trent Jr. ($4,800, 55.25 FPTS) stepped up in a significant way in Lillard’s absence with 33 points and eight threes made. Unfortunately, his turnover in overtime cost them dearly. AJ Green ($3,800, 30.5 FPTS) also pitched in well with six made threes.

Tyrese Haliburton ($8,500, 58.25 FPTS) made a statement in this one. His game-winning layup with 1.3 seconds on the clock sent the Bucks home for the second year running. He was joined by Andrew Nembhard ($5,100, 40.5 FPTS), who helped key their comeback late in overtime. Aaron Nesmith ($4,900, 41.5 FPTS) also pitched in a crucial 19 points and 12 rebounds on the night.

Milwaukee covered the +7.5 spread on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the game going over the 222.5 total.

Indiana moves on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Cavs open as -7 favorites in Game 1, set to be played on May 3.
