Jaylen Brown Injury Update: Celtics vs. Magic Game 4

Updated:

UPDATE: Brown is available.

As the Boston Celtics prepare to take on the Orlando Magic in Game 4 of the opening round of the NBA playoffs, Jaylen Brown is listed as questionable. He continues to battle a right knee posterior impingement and his status will be one to monitor leading up to tip-off.

Brown was listed as questionable leading up to the Game 3 matchup as well, but ultimately suited up and played. He finished the matchup with 19 points, six rebounds, and six turnovers in the 95-93 loss. The four-time All-Star shot 7-for-14 from the floor and logged 34 minutes of action.

The Celtics hold a 2-1 series lead, but injuries have become a more notable storyline than they would like. Jayson Tatum missed Game 2 due to a wrist issue, while Jrue Holiday missed the previous game and has already been ruled out for tomorrow’s matchup.

Boston enters Sunday’s matchup as 6.5-point favorites at -258 on the Moneyline. The Magic hold +210 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook with the game total set at 196.5. The defending champions also hold -4000 odds of advancing in the overall series.

Brown’s status will be one to monitor leading up to tip-off.
