UPDATE: Mitchell Robinson is available for the Knicks in the Game 4 matchup after being listed as questionable with an illness.

Mitchell Robinson is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s Game 4 matchup between the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons due to an illness. The Knicks’ big man missed Saturday’s practice due to the issue.

Tom Thibodeau did not express much concern when speaking with reporters earlier today, but it is worth noting he is officially on the team’s injury report with the issue.

Missed time and lack of availability have been an all-too-consistent problem for Robinson. He suited up for just 17 games in the regular season this year after playing 31 games in the 2023-24 season.

While the injuries are a legitimate concern, Robinson’s production is not. He is a key part of this Knicks team, allowing them to play with more lineup versatility and shift Karl-Anthony Towns to the power forward spot for stretches. This is an especially valuable option for New York against a Detroit Pistons team that attacks the glass with a similar tenacity and physicality. Robinson has played at least 15 minutes in all three postseason games thus far, tallying eight points and 17 rebounds in 54 total minutes of action.

The Game 4 matchup between the Knicks and Pistons will lead off tomorrow’s NBA slate, with the matchup tipping off at 1:00 p.m. ET. This series has been one of the more entertaining of the opening round, with it reaching all expectations in regards to playoff intensity and physicality.

With the Knicks holding a 2-1 series lead, the Pistons enter Sunday’s game as two-point favorites at -130 on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. New York holds +110 odds on the Moneyline with the game total set at 217. Detroit holds +360 odds of winning the series overall.
