The most-bet prop bet across the entire MLB slate today is for Nick Castellanos to hit a home run. The odds opened at +475 on DraftKings Sportsbook for this to occur, but have shifted down to +360 with money continuing to pour in.
The two-time all-star is off to a really solid start to his season, slashing .304/.364/.494 with 24 hits across his first 79 at-bats. Castellanos has shown a better plate approach this season and has been more willing to lay off the down-and-away slider. He has three home runs and six doubles this season, tallying 14 RBIs thus far. The Phillies will face their NL East rival New York Mets today, with Tylor Megill expected to get the start. Castellanos is 3-for-9 in his career against Megill, including one strikeout and a game-winning single during last year’s playoffs.

The Phillies’ bullpen is also struggling in a major way, posting a 5.81 ERA, which is the second-worst rate in baseball, which is worth noting once Nola sits down.

The 23-year-old has smashed five home runs so far this season and 22 total RBIs. He is posting hitting splits of .241/.313/.448 and has hit a home run in two of his past three games.
The Reds will be facing the Marlins today with Max Meyer on the mound. Meyer is off to a strong start to the season, with a 2.63 ERA and only allowing seven earned runs in his 24.0 innings pitched. Montero has struggled to start the season, entering this game with a 9.00 ERA, a -0.2 WAR, and having given up three home runs and five earned runs in just five innings pitched. Tatis has faced him three times in his career, turning one of these plate appearances into a double. Only Yordon Alvarez (+245) and Aaron Judge (+200) hold shorter odds of producing a home run on today’s DraftKings slate.
