Nothing like a Colorado Rockies matchup for a get-right. Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers certainly agree.
Los Angeles rolled to another win last night and is poised to sweep the series with a victory tonight. It comes as no surprise, as Colorado may be the worst team in baseball. Poor German Marquez, the longest-tenured Rockie, is set up for a rough night.
Will Shohei be able to take advantage? Or will we see a repeat of last night’s 0-for?
Onย DraftKings Sportsbook, Los Angeles is the home favorite at -310, and the run total is set at 8.5. Below, I’ve highlighted my favorite Ohtani prop bet for this contest.

Have I lost my mind? Betting on the best hitter in the world not to hit?
Here’s the thing: Ohtani has gone hitless in three of his last five contests, including last night’s tilt. He’s only 1-for-6 lifetime against Marquez with a couple of strikeouts. There’s reason to believe that despite everything about the Rockies, this may not be the matchup for him.
Maybe the three-time MVP proves me wrong here, but I’m willing to take the chance on an off night for Shohei.
