With the NBA’s regular season having ended, all attention turns squarely to Major League Baseball tonight. Zero NBA games will be played, and, if nothing else, the Tennessee Titans appear to have settled on who they will select with the first overall pick in the NFL Draft next Thursday. Plus, The Masters Tournament is over.
20 MLB teams will be in action tonight, including 16 on tonight’s featured DFS slate on DraftKings. Here are three players from those games who need to be in your lineups.

SP Dustin May, Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies, $9,300
After the defending champions got off to an 8-0 start, things have slowed down significantly, as the Dodgers have lost three consecutive series and have fallen to 11-6. Los Angeles fans — myself included — aren’t particularly concerned. But the Dodgers should have an excellent chance to get the season back on track against the cellar-dwelling Rockies, who are already last in the NL West by five and a half games. This season, Colorado has scored just 40 runs — nine fewer than any other team in baseball — are eighth-to-last in hits, second-to-last in walks and strikeouts, and third-to-last in home runs. May isn’t an ace, like some of the other pitchers on tonight’s slate, but so far this season, he’s given up only one run, four hits and six walks in 11 innings so far this season (15.4 fantasy points per game). The 27-year-old’s signs of rust in his comeback from his second Tommy John surgery should dissipate somewhat as the season goes on.
OF Jasson Domínguez, New York Yankees vs. Kansas City Royals, $4,200
The former Yankees top prospect has been inconsistent in what will end up being his rookie season, slashing just .239/.327/.391 and only hitting one home run in his first 13 games of the season. But I remember watching Domínguez swing a bat when New York signed him out of the Dominican Republic as a teenager and, compared to some of the other options at his price range, he has the most raw talent. At just 22 years old, he’s due for a breakout any day, and being a switch hitter against a righty at Yankee Stadium, with its short right-field porch, is always a plus. Seth Lugo ($7,600) has been fairly good for his price point, with a 3.24 ERA and an 81st percentile barrel rate, but he loves to throw fastballs despite having just a 17th percentile run value with the pitch and Domínguez has posted a .403 wOBA against fastballs this season.
SS Xander Bogaerts, San Diego Padres vs. Chicago Cubs, $4,500
In general, I have been a Jameson Taillon ($6,700) believer, as I’ve put him on my values columns twice. He returned my faith in an April 2 win over the Athletics with a 23.3-FPT performance, but to be fair, that’s the Athletics. He was less good, although still okay, the following week against the Texas Rangers, posting 15.9 FPTS. Against San Diego, whose offense comes close to matching even the Cubs’ in several facets, I’m going to go against him. The Padres have several versatile offense weapons in the infield, the most expensive being Manny Machado ($5,600). Given that I chose the third-most expensive pitcher, I’ll go with a more reasonable option in Bogaerts, who has posted an impressive .304/.385/.393 slash line, with his second-highest walk rate and highest average exit velocity of his career. Taillon’s best known for his off-speed stuff, but Bogaerts has posted a .421 wOBA against off-speed pitches so far in 2025.
