Malik Monk, Keegan Murray Injury Updates: 4/9/25 vs. the Nuggets

The Kings will be shorthanded on Wednesday in a Western Conference bout with the Nuggets. Malik Monk has been ruled out with a calf injury and Keegan Murray is questionable with a back injury.

Wednesday’s contest has playoff implications for both sides as the Kings are the ninth seed in the Western Conference. The Nuggets, on the other hand, are the fourth seed. Each game moving forward is key if they both expect to maintain their seeding.

Sacramento is only playing for play-in seeding, while the Nuggets can still slip out of the playoffs and into the play-in.

Monk will be a notable absence as he’s averaging 17.2 points and 5.6 assists per game this year. If Murray also doesn’t play, that would be a big blow for the Kings. The third-year wing is averaging 12.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
