The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the NBA’s must underrated teams, and with the playoffs approaching, they’ve got a real chance at making some noise when it matters most. James Harden has been on a tear ever since the All-Star break, and tonight he leads the team against a San Antonio Spurs team which has their eyes primarily on lottery odds.
Here’s the best Harden prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for the contest, which tips off in the late slate at 10:30 p.m. EST.
Best James Harden prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Harden’s prop lines on DraftKings Sportsbook currently sit at 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 9.5 assists, and 3.5 three-pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line is currently 38.5.
The Clippers are 13-point favorites tonight on DraftKings Sportsbook with a game total of 228. The Spurs have struggled ever since losing Victor Wembanyama for the rest of the season after the All-Star break, and their fortunes took another nosedive when De’Aaron Fox was sidelined for the remainder of the year, too. Since All-Star Weekend, the team ranks 27th in defensive rating. However, they still play at a somewhat up-tempo rate as they rank 12th in pace.
Harden’s points prop has ticked up lately, so that’s probably one to avoid tonight in a game with blowout potential. However, a prop bet I like the point guard to hit tonight is over 14.5 AST + REB at -130 odds.
This over has cashed in 39 of 75 games on the season. Harden is one of the best passers in the NBA and should be in a position to tally plenty of assists in this matchup tonight, especially with center Ivica Zubac working down low against a poor Spurs frontcourt. With that in mind, over 9.5 assists could also be a great play at +110 odds, but with how poor the Spurs’ rebounding is at this point (28th since losing Wembanyama), I like Harden’s chances of pulling down some boards tonight, too.
With that said, either of those props are worth a look in this game. The biggest worry is that the Clippers could sit their starters in a blowout, which feels somewhat likely. However, Harden can still get his stats before heading to the bench.
