Kawhi Leonard Update: 4/8/25 vs. the Spurs

UPDATE: Leonard has been ruled out tonight vs. the Spurs.

Since Kawhi Leonard ($9,000) made his season debut on January 4th, the Los Angeles Clippers played in eight back-to-backs. Leonard sat one leg in all of those. Last week, though, the Clippers played Friday and Saturday, and Leonard played both games. The Clippers have their final back-to-back of the season on Tuesday and Wednesday, but they have listed Leonard as questionable.

The Clippers are currently tied with three other teams for fifth in the Western Conference. They are only 1.5 games behind the Denver Nuggets and two games behind the Los Angeles Lakers for the third seed.

Los Angeles plays San Antonio on Tuesday and Houston on Wednesday. It’s favored by 12.5 points against the Spurs, so it’s likely Leonard sits Tuesday and plays on Wednesday.

If Leonard is unable to go, Derrick Jones Jr. ($3,600) would likely get the start while James Harden ($10,000), Norman Powell ($6,500) and Bogdan Bogdanovic ($4,000) would all see usage bumps. On the season with Leonard off the court, Harden has seen a 3.06% increase, Powell 2.44% and Bogdanovic 2.91%.
