Two teams with their postseason aspirations hanging by a thread will meet to open Week 15 with the Las Vegas Raiders hosting the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football. The Raiders were shut out 3-0 at home on Sunday, marking the equal-lowest-scoring NFL game of the Super Bowl Era, as well as their third consecutive loss. In a game devoid of offensive highlights, the Raiders were also dealt a blow as lead running back Josh Jacobs suffered an injury. Rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell was held to 171 yards and threw a late interception, marking his first touchdown-less outing since Week 9. Meanwhile, the Chargers will have a different starting quarterback for the first time since Week 1 of 2020 after Justin Herbert fractured his right index finger during Sunday’s 24-7 loss to the Broncos, all but ending their slim playoff chances. Easton Stick, who led their sole touchdown drive in that loss, will get his first career start.
