The Clippers and Mavericks play for the second night in a row on Saturday night. After Friday’s game, Kawhi Leonard ($9,200) was non-committal about his status for Saturday, and the team listed him as questionable on their initial injury report for the contest.

Kawhi only played 23 minutes on Friday and had 20 points and 33.5 fantasy points. With the lighter workload, it’s a possibility he could have a lighter workload for a second night in a row on Saturday. He has not played a back-to-back all season and has been limited to just 33 games due to knee issues.
The Clippers may opt to play it safe with Kawhi, who has been excellent lately, as they get ready for the playoff run. They enter Saturday’s matchup as the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference but still have a good chance to move up with a strong finish, or they could sink lower in the Play-in Tournament seeding.
The most important thing for the Clippers, though, is that Kawhi is healthy and rested for their postseason run through a brutal Western Conference stacked with strong teams.
If they ultimately rule Leonard out, there would be added usage for the rest of the Clippers rotation, with Derrick Jones Jr. ($3,400) and Nicolas Batum ($3,100) the primary candidates to receive increased playing time. James Harden ($9,800) and Norman Powell ($6,600) would have to shoulder more of the workload on offense.
