This year’s National Championship for the 2025 NCAA Women’s tournament is here! No. 1 South Carolina is going for its second title in a row and three of the last four years. South Carolina will face Paige Bueckers and No. 2 Connecticut Huskies in the Championship on Sunday, April 6, at 3:00 p.m. ET at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

This is a rematch of the 2022 championship, which South Carolina won 64-49. South Carolina is looking to win its second straight championship and third in the past four seasons. UConn won four titles in a row from 2012-2016 but has only made one appearance in the championship game since then.

UConn is a -6.5 favorite in this matchup on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Huskies are -290, as South Carolina is +235 to win this game outright. The over/under is set at 133.5 points.

The Huskies have won 26 of their previous 27 games and have only lost one in 2025. On February 16, UConn beat South Carolina 87-58. The Huskies have dominated this NCAA tournament, winning all four games by 14 or more points with three by 34-plus.
