Just three days remain in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, with a national champion set to be crowned on Monday. The result of tonight’s Final Four matchups will determine which pair of teams will battle for the title.
The first of these two games is a showdown between SEC rivals Auburn and Florida. These programs last met in February, with the Gators pulling out a 90-81 road win. The Tigers and Wooden Award finalist Johni Broome will hope to exact their revenge tonight.
Florida enters this contest as 2.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. The line makes sense, as UF has arguably the deepest squad in college basketball. Five different players on this roster are averaging at least 9.8 points per game. Per KenPom, the Gators rank second in adjusted offensive efficiency and tenth in adjusted defensive efficiency. The Tigers ranks third and eighth, respectively. This season, Florida is 24-9 against the spread as a favorite, while Auburn is 2-1 as an underdog.
The total for Saturday’s matchup is set at 159.5 points. When these teams last met, they easily cleared this number (171 points). On the season, Florida has gone over in 21 of their 38 games this season. In comparison, Auburn has hit the over in 21 of their 37 appearances. The Gators average the third-most points per game in the nation (85.4), while the Tigers rank 12th (83.2).
