With just a handful of games remaining in the regular season, James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers are still fighting for playoff positioning as the eight-seed in the Western Conference. Tonight, the Beard faces off against a Dallas Mavericks squad which recently reintegrated Anthony Davis into the lineup after an extensive injury-related absence.

Here’s the best Harden prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for this game, which tips off in the late slate at 10:30 p.m. EST.

Harden’s prop lines on DraftKings Sportsbook are set at 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 9.5 assists, and 2.5 three-pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line is currently 36.5.

The Clippers are 10.5-point favorites in tonight’s meeting with -500 odds to win on the Moneyline. The overall game total sits at a modest 226.5. It’s tough to glean much insight from overall statistics since the opposing Mavericks have struggled with injuries all season, but since Davis returned, they rank 10th in defensive rating, 17th in opponent points allowed, and sixth in pace over their last five games.

Ever since the All-Star break, James Harden is playing like his vintage self. The 35-year-old averages 24.8 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.4 rebounds per contest across those 22 appearances. He’s led this Clippers squad admirably while fellow star Kawhi Leonard missed time, and with both healthy, they’re a squad which could potentially throw a wrench in another team’s playoff plans.

The first Harden prop bet to check out in this one is under 9.5 assists. While I love Harden’s playmaking ability, this line has been creeping up over recent weeks. He’s gone under 9.5 assists in 47/73 games this season and nine of his last 10, so I definitely lean that direction for betting purposes. It feels a little wrong to take the point guard’s under, but it feels fairly safe at -125 odds against a Dallas defense which is slowly getting healthier.

However, I do like his chances of going over his points line of 21.5. While Harden has only eclipsed that line in five of his last 10 games, he typically comes close to it with 20-ish points at the least. Given his form over the second half of the season and the stakes of his matchup against the ninth-seed Mavericks, who are also fighting to stay in the play-in race, I think Harden puts up a higher-scoring performance tonight. Over 21.5 points feels right at -125 odds.
