The Pacers welcome back their old friend Domantas Sabonis and the Kings on Monday night, but they won’t have Myles Turner available to try and slow Sabonis down after the veteran big man was ruled out due to illness. While his absence could improve the matchup for Sabonis, it also definitely opens up playing time and usage for DFS value. Obi Toppin ($4,200) is an elite value option with more work available, especially since he has been lighting it up lately coming off the Pacers bench.

PF/C Obi Toppin, Indiana Pacers vs. Sacramento Kings, $4,200
Toppin has scored double-digit points in seven of his last eight games, averaging 25.1 fantasy points per game on 15.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 23.1 minutes per contest.
That stretch of strong production reaches back to the last time Turner missed a game. Toppin started in his place and went off for 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 57.5 fantasy points in 45 minutes in a win over the Timberwolves.
While a repeat performance is definitely a tall ask, he has a similar ceiling in this matchup if he gets the start against the Kings. While Sabonis usually puts up big fantasy numbers, he isn’t a shutdown defender, so both Toppin and Pascal Siakam ($7,600) get a boost from Turner’s absence.
