UPDATE: The Sixers have elected to keep Jeff Dowtin Jr. INACTIVE for this game with limited NBA games remaining on his two-way contract. Per Adam Aaronson of the Philly Voice, Dowtin Jr. has just two remaining games of eligibility.
Injuries have been the story of the Philadelphia 76ers season, with Joel Embiid and Paul George already shut down for the season, and a laundry list of other players joining them as out tonight. Quentin Grimes ($9,400) has been one of the bright spots on this disappointing stretch but has been ruled out tonight as well due to rest. Guerschon Yabusele ($5,600) is also listed as questionable with there set to be a chance Philadelphia will be without all of their primary contributors. Reality has set in on the state of the season with the Sixers officially eliminated for the playoffs but these minutes are extremely important for players looking to solidify their NBA future. Look for Jeff Dowtin Jr. ($5,700) to make the most of his opportunity tonight against the Raptors and outperform his DFS pricepoint with the expanded opprotunity.

PG Jeff Dowtin Jr, Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors, $5,700
At 27 years old and in his fourth NBA season, Jeff Dowtin Jr is as experienced a player as you will find on a two-way contract. He got his first professional footing in Toronto under Nick Nurse and followed him to Philadelphia where he has spent the past two seasons. He has suited up for 39 games with the Sixers this season averaging 14.4 minutes per game producing 6.5 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.4 rebounds.
As the hopes for the playoffs shrunk and the outlook for the season changed, Dowtin Jr. has seen his role grow. He has scored 10+ points in each of his past 10 games and is averaging 14.6 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.4 rebounds in 23.7 minutes per game in this stretch. Based on DraftKings fantasy scoring, Dowtin Jr. has tallied 30+ points in four of his past eight games.
The Sixers and Raptors most recently faced off on March 12th. Dowtin Jr. finished with 20 points, three assists, and two rebounds, or 32.0 fantasy points in this game. He followed this up with a season-high 42.8 fantasy points in the following game against the Jazz and will have an expanded role tonight.
While Jared Butler ($6,100) will also be tasked with plenty of the ballhandling responsibilities, look for Dowtin Jr. to benefit from the expanded role and have a strong statistical output tonight. He has a unique style of play and strange jump shot form but his herky-jerky movement can freeze defenders and this was put on full display in the previous matchup with Toronto. Philadelphia kept Dowtin Jr. inactive last night with his number of eligible NBA games winding down and expect him to be fully unleashed tonight against his former team.
