  • Hornets at Raptors, 7:30 p.m.

Cavaliers -5.5 (-112)

Cleveland heads to Detroit looking to extend its three-game win streak. The Cavaliers have dominated the Pistons recently, winning 12 consecutive matchups, including all three this season. Despite playing three games in four nights, Cleveland has gotten back on track. The Pistons, though, have been competitive lately, especially with Marcus Sasser stepping up in Cade Cunningham’s absence. However, the Cavaliers’ depth and consistency should prove too much for Detroit, making Cleveland a solid bet to cover the spread.

Suns +7 (-110)

Phoenix heads to Minnesota after a tough loss to the Celtics, but they’ve been better on the defensive end lately. Despite a rough defensive showing against Boston, Phoenix has the tools to keep this game competitive. Minnesota, while solid, has shown vulnerability in recent matchups, and Phoenix’s defense should tighten up on the road. With a slim playoff margin, the Suns are highly motivated to keep the game close, making them a strong play to cover the seven-point spread.

Clippers -12 (-112)

The Clippers are on a roll, winning nine of their last 11 games, and they face a Nets squad struggling to find consistency. The Clippers have been scoring at a high clip, led by Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, and they dismantled the Nets earlier in the season by 59 points. Brooklyn has been blown out in recent games and has little firepower to match up with Los Angeles’ depth. Expect the Clippers to cover the 12-point spread in what should be another dominant win over the Nets.

Raptors -5.5 (-110)

Toronto faces off against the struggling Hornets in what should be a one-sided affair. The Hornets have been in free fall, losing five of their last six games and getting blown out by multiple teams. The Raptors have responded well after a tough skid, beating the Wizards and the Nets handily. With Scottie Barnes leading the charge, Toronto should have no problem handling Charlotte and covering the -5.5 spread at home.
