Best Corey Conners Prop for The Valspar Championship

The Valspar Championship concludes the PGA Tour’s Florida swing, following THE PLAYERS Championship. This is a look at the best prop bet for Corey Conners on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Valspar Championship

The Valspar Championship is played at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort. The Copperhead Course is a par-71 golf course and ranges 7,209 yards. The greens are Bermudagrass, overseeded with Poa Trivialis. The course features the iconic “Snake Pit,” which is the name for the wildly difficult last three holes of the course. The Valspar field will feature 156 golfers and there is a standard 36-hole cut with the top-65 and ties making the weekend. The field is mixed, following THE PLAYERS. 24 of the top 50 players in the world are in the field so it is a competitive tournament but not nearly as stacked as THE PLAYERS field was.

Here is a look at my favorite prop for The Valspar Championship:

Corey Conners Top 20 Finish (+140)

Corey Conners has had a great start to the 2025 season. He currently ranks 8th in the FedEx Cup Standings after playing seven events. In those seven events, Conners has three top-ten finishes. He started the season with a T5 at The Sentry and has been on fire the past two weeks. Against great fields, Conners finished third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and T6 at THE PLAYERS Championship. Conners has fantastic form heading into this event where he has been solid in the past. Corey Conners has played in the Valspar Championship twice and finished T16 and T21 in those two appearances.

Conners has shown that he can compete at the Valspar Championship, even when he wasn’t in great form. He is currently playing the best golf of anyone on tour. Over his past eight rounds, Conners leads the Tour in strokes-gained total and strokes-gained tee to green. Both of those tournaments were played in Florida in similar conditions to what he will see at the Valspar Championship. His ball-striking is some of the best in the world and that is essential with all the hazards around the Copperhead Course.

My favorite bet for the Valspar Championship is for Corey Conners to finish inside the top 20. Conners has finished T21 or better in both of his career starts at Innisbrook. He also has top-ten finishes against better fields in each of his past two starts this season. The form he is in should see him compete from start to finish this weekend and comfortably end up inside the top 20.
