When is the 2025 NIT bracket announced on Selection Sunday?

The 2025 National Invitation Tournament bracket will be revealed on Sunday, March 16 via a press release from the NCAA and on social media. At 6 p.m. ET, the 2025 NCAA Men’s basketball tournament will be unveiled on ESPN. After the March Madness bracket is out, the NIT bracket will be announced publicly.

How to watch the 2025 National Invitation Tournament

The 2025 NIT begins on March 18 and will feature 32 teams. The tournament’s first three rounds will be held on college campuses, while the final four will take place at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The NIT was created in 1938 and gives teams who don’t make the 2025 NCAA March Madness Tournament an opportunity.

Seton Hall beat Indiana State to win the 2024 National Invitation Tournament. Each game in the NIT will be broadcast on various ESPN platforms throughout the tournament. The championship game is scheduled for April 3.
