Franz Wagner U 1.5 Made Three Pointers (-110)

Wagner hasn’t been active or efficient from long-range as of late. In his first 10 starts since the All-Star break, Wagner is only averaging 1.0 made three pointers on 4.4 attempts per game, which translates into an ugly 22% from beyond the arc. During this 10-game stretch, Wagner has only made multiple three pointers twice and he has had three showings without a make from distance, two of which have come in his last three starts.

Overall, Wagner’s usage has been 4.4 percentage points lower after the All-Star break than his average prior to the layoff, as the Magic heavily rely on Paolo Banchero as they fight to stay alive for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Wagner may put up a strong stat line against this soft Pelicans defense that ranks 29th in efficiency, but his lack of production in the three point department should continue and backing him for under 1.5 made three pointers is a smart move Thursday.
