The Phoenix Suns may be struggling, but Kevin Durant is every bit a superstar as ever. The 36-year-old forward averages 26.9 points per game and remains one of the league’s best and most efficient scorers.
Tonight, he and the Suns face the Houston Rockets on the road in what should be a great game. Here’s a couple of best KD prop bets for the 8 p.m. EST tip-off.
Best Kevin Durant prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Durant’s lines on DraftKings Sportsbook are set at 25.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 three-pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line is currently 35.5.
The Rockets are a tough opponent as their defense ranks third league-wide in defensive rating and first in rebounding. However, up-and-coming star Amen Thompson is sidelined with an injury, so they’ll be without their best defender for this contest.
Durant’s three-pointers line is absolutely worth a target, especially at +120 odds. The Slim Reaper has made at least three shots from long-range in eight of his 11 appearances since All-Star Weekend, so his three-point shot is in peak form at the moment. He knocked through four or more shots from beyond the arc in three of those contests and is coming off seven made threes in his last game. Grab the over on 2.5 three-pointers while you can, even against a hard-nosed Houston defense.
The under on Durant’s rebounding line is another appealing option with plus-odds. The veteran forward has gone over this 5.5 line in 29 of 52 games, but most teams don’t rebound at the same level Houston does. Even without Thompson in the lineup, the trio of Alperen Segun, Tari Eason, and Jabari Smith Jr. still gobble up boards at a high level — Durant may have a tough time crashing the glass tonight. At +110 odds, going under 5.5 rebounds holds some value.
