Just a few weeks ago, this Mavericks vs. Spurs game would have been far more exciting. Both teams made major moves at the trade deadline with Dallas acquiring Anthony Davis and San Antonio getting De’Aaron Fox.
The Mavericks have since been marred by injuries. Davis, Kyrie Irving, Dereck Lively II and Daniel Gafford are all sidelined. The Spurs have their fair share of injuries, too as Victor Wembanyama is out for the remainder of the season.
This will be the second straight time these teams play each other as the Spurs hosted the Mavericks on Monday, March 10. This game is also in San Antonio and is their fourth and final matchup of the regular season.
The Spurs are 5.5-point favorites at home and the game total is set at 237 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Max Christie over 22.5 points + rebounds + assists (-125)
Max Christie has sneakily been a good addition for the Mavericks despite him coming in the Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis deal.
Since debuting with Dallas, Christie is averaging 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He’s also started in nine of 16 games, playing 32.7 minutes per contest.
While Dallas is missing its star players, Christie’s points + rebounds + assists prop is a way to get a Mavericks player on the slip. His Dallas averages come out to 19.9 PRA per game, but he’s going to keep getting more opportunities with so many injuries on the roster.
The volume was there on Monday against the Spurs. Christie had 12 points, five assists and four rebounds. He tallied this all while shooting 4-of-15 from the field and 2-of-11 from distance. If he made one more basket, he clears this line.
Wednesday’s game should be similar as Christie looks to bounce back with a better shooting performance.
De’Aaron Fox over 21.5 points (-125)
Had Doncic not been traded, Fox likely would’ve been the biggest name at the trade deadline. He created a lethal duo between him and Wembanyama, but he’s flying solo for the rest of the season.
With Wembanyama out, Fox has more responsibility. He could even garner more usage if Devin Vassell (questionable, wrist) sits out.
Like Christie, Fox had an underwhelming performance on Monday. He scored just 14 points, with Vassell and Harrison Barnes leading the scoring column. That shouldn’t be the case for two consecutive games, nor should the Spurs lose back-to-back games to Dallas.
If bettors parlay both prop bets, the value increases to +208.
