Reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira defends his belt against Jamahal Hill this Saturday, April 13. The fight will serve as the main event of an action-packed UFC 300 card taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Main card coverage starts at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+PPV.
Pereira is a former middleweight titleholder who shifted to light heavyweight in July 2023. After defeating Jan Blachowicz in his 185-pound debut, Pereira would go on to stop then-reigning champion Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295, capturing his second title.
Hill once held the light heavyweight title, defeating Glover Teixeira back in January 2023 at UFC 283. The 32-year-old became the first Dana White Contender Series alum to win a championship. However, before he could make a defense, Hill ruptured his Achilles tendon and therefore had to vacate the belt.
