With the NBA season entering the home stretch, the 22-43 Toronto Raptors are likely to prioritize draft lottery odds above winning basketball. Now, they’ll be without star wing RJ Barrett for Wednesday’s contest.

Barrett has officially been ruled out for the home game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to personal reasons.

In 51 appearances for the Raptors this season, his first full campaign with the team, the Canadian averages career-best marks across the board with 21.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. He plays a huge role as the 1A or 1B on nearly any given night next to Scottie Barnes, so his absence will take a toll on the team’s production Wednesday.

With Immanuel Quickley ruled out as well, expect Barnes to take on additional usage against the Sixers. Additionally, Gradey Dick may see his role in the offense grow, as could rookie Jamal Shead. Either of the latter two could be an intriguing DFS lineup option.

Wednesday’s contest tips off at 7:30 p.m. EST in Toronto.
