Ja Morant plays despite shoulder concerns, and Jaren Jackson Jr. will remain sidelined. Despite recent struggles, the Grizzlies should have enough firepower to cover the -10 spread against the short-handed Mavericks.
Kings -6.5 (-112)
Sacramento has been resilient without Domantas Sabonis, and despite his injury, the Kings have managed to win their last two games. However, the Kings will face a San Antonio team coming off a strong 127-113 victory over Brooklyn. San Antonio has been competitive but lacks the consistency to keep up with Sacramento’s high-scoring offense. Despite the absence of Sabonis and Malik Monk, key contributors like Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Keegan Murray can help set the tone to help Sacramento cover the -6.5 spread at home.
Clippers -7.5 (-112)
After a season-high 50 points from James Harden in a recent victory over the Pistons, the Clippers look to continue their momentum. The Knicks are dealing with injuries, especially Jalen Brunson, who left their last game with an ankle injury. With a key player down, the Knicks will struggle to compete against a rejuvenated Clippers squad led by Harden. It’s realistic for the Clippers to take advantage of New York’s shortcomings and cover the -7.5 spread at home.
Trail Blazers +2.5 (-108)
Portland has had a solid run on its road trip, and despite injuries, it has shown resilience. Oklahoma City has been red-hot, winning five straight games, but it will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for this matchup. With solid performances from Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharpe, Jabari Walker, and other role players, the Trail Blazers have a real shot to cover the +2.5 spread against an undermanned Thunder squad if Portland’s recent momentum continues. Expect Portland to compete well, even on the road, and make this game close.
