Bucks -10.5 (-108)
The Bucks are coming off a dominant 127-121 victory over the Hawks and are in prime form to continue their success when they host the Mavericks. Milwaukee has won seven of its last eight games, with Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way with a 26-point, 12-rebound, 10-assist performance against Atlanta. With the Mavericks facing many injuries, including the season-ending ACL tear of Kyrie Irving, and key players like Anthony Davis also sidelined, it’s challenging to see Dallas keeping up with the Bucks’ firepower. With the spread set at -10.5, expect Milwaukee to extend its winning streak and cover the spread comfortably.
Clippers +4.5 (-108)
The Pistons have been red-hot, winning 10 of their last 11 games, but facing the Clippers on the road will test their resilience. Detroit is coming off a 134-106 win over the Jazz, with Cade Cunningham posting 29 points and Jalen Duren adding 16 points and 12 rebounds. However, after a 119-117 loss to the Suns, the Clippers are hungry for a bounce-back win. Despite the absence of Norman Powell, the Clippers have plenty of firepower, with Kawhi Leonard and Ivica Zubac setting the tone. Even if it ends up being a loss, look for the Clippers to bounce back and keep this one close, with a solid chance to cover the +4.5 spread.
Nuggets -5.5 (-108)
The Kings are facing a tough test in Denver without Domantas Sabonis, who is recovering from a hamstring injury. However, Sacramento has still managed to win its last two games without Sabonis, including an impressive 122-98 win over the Dallas Mavericks. But the Nuggets, led by NBA MVP candidate Nikola Jokic, are a tough team at home, and they’ll be looking to stay in the hunt for a top seed in the West. Despite Sabonis’ absence, the Kings must rely on DeMar DeRozan, Keegan Murray and Zach LaVine. Jokic’s dominant all-around game will be too much for the Kings, and Denver should cover the -5.5 spread.
Wizards -5 (-108)
The Wizards will look to bounce back after a tough 106-90 loss to the Heat when they host the Jazz. With Jordan Poole and Malcolm Brogdon both sidelined, Washington must step up offensively, with Khris Middleton leading the charge. Utah, coming off a 134-106 loss to the Pistons, has struggled on both ends. With Lauri Markkanen and John Collins both injured, the Jazz will need a big performance from Kyle Filipowski to keep this game competitive. Expect Washington to cover the -5 spread, especially with the Wizards at home against a rebuilding Jazz team.
Cavaliers -11 (-108)
The Cavaliers continue to impress, having won 11 straight games heading into their matchup with the Heat. The Cavaliers have a lot of momentum right now, with Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen playing at a high level. Miami will have a tough time competing with Cleveland’s depth. Despite Miami’s resilience, the Cavaliers are well-positioned to cover the -11 spread, especially with their dominance on both ends of the floor. Cleveland has a chance to continue its recent success against a Miami team that has struggled to find its footing since the fallout of the Jimmy Butler era began.
