The Timberwolves are hosting the Thunder on Sunday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Oklahoma City is favored by 9.5 points and this game presents a total of 230 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Anthony Edwards prop bet to consider from this contest.

Anthony Edwards U 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

While Edwards is going to see a huge usage rate with Julius Randle (groin) and Rudy Gobert (back) both out, this matchup vs. the Thunder is the worst possible spot for Edwards. The Timberwolves have played two games without Randle and Gobert this season, one of which just came on Feb. 13th and in that tilt, Edwards fell short of 39.5 PRA with 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists across 36 minutes.

Oklahoma City leads the NBA in defensive rating by a wide margin and Edwards has stayed under 39.5 PRA in both of his matchups with the club this season. For some perspective on how elite of a defensive team the Thunder truly are, their 104.5 defensive rating is the best in the league this season by four points and is the best defensive rating the NBA has seen since the Bucks in 2020.

The Timberwolves being a nine-point underdog vs. the Thunder also doesn’t bode well for Edwards, as he is only averaging 36 PRA per game in losses this season. Edwards exceeding 39.5 PRA would be extremely impressive Sunday and he is an excellent bet for under this huge combo line.
