Jeff’s King of the End Zone Picks for Super Bowl LIX: DeVonta Smith & Xavier Worthy

I know, I know. No Saquon Barkley, who has won back-to-back King of the End Zone crowns?

Tossing Barkley in a potential SGP makes plenty of sense, but I would imagine the Chiefs’ entire defensive gameplan entering Super Bowl LIX revolves around containing the superstar back. As a result, I’m opting for a pair of aerial threats with big-play potential.

For a rookie, Xavier Worthy’s rapport with Patrick Mahomes has developed at an astonishing rate. The speedster has scored in three of Kansas City’s last four games and racked up six receptions for 85 yards against the Bills. Worthy is a threat to score anytime he touches the ball.

On Philly’s side, the Chiefs will certainly be locked in on A.J. Brown, leaving DeVonta Smith room to do some damage. Jalen Hurts doesn’t throw to a large circle of receivers, keeping his pass-catchers to a limited list. Smith is the clear No. 2 option in that group, and he has plenty of big play potential.
