The NFL is moving through Week 15 and some of the division races are starting to sort themselves out. There is plenty to be figured out in the final three weeks, but Week 15 results are offering a little bit of clarity.
The 49ers entered the week as the only team with a division-clinching scenario. They will clinch the NFC West title with a win or a Rams loss. The Eagles, Cowboys, and Ravens can all clinch a playoff berth with a win, while the Lions can clinch a playoff berth with a Seahawks loss.
The NFL had its first of three straight weeks of Saturday football. The Bengals beat the Vikings, the Colts beat the Steelers, and the Lions beat the Broncos. All six teams entered the weekend above .500 and in playoff position.
Below are the eight divisional standings, along with some quick thoughts about each division after 15 weeks of football. We’ll update with remaining records as the league moves toward Week 16.
AFC East
The Dolphins crushed the Jets. The Patriots lost to the Chiefs. The Bills destroyed the Cowboys.
AFC North
The Bengals beat the Vikings in overtime on Saturday. The Steelers lost an ugly one ot the Colts on Saturday. The Browns beat the Bears on a last-second field goal.
AFC South
The Colts rolled over the Steelers on Saturday. The Texans beat the Titans and remain tied with the Colts.
AFC West
The Raiders thumped the Chargers on Thursday Night Football. The Broncos lost badly to the Lions on Saturday evening. The Chiefs beat the Patriots to take a two-game lead in the division.
NFC East
The Giants lost to the Saints. The Cowboys and Eagles both lost their matchups.
NFC North
The Vikings lost in overtime to the Bengals on Saturday. The Lions crushed the Broncos on Saturday night. The Packers lost to the Bucs and the Bears lost to the Browns on Sunday.
NFC South
The Bucs beat the Packers to maintain their hold on first place in the division. The Saints beat the Giants to remain tied for first while the Falcons lost a stunner to the Panthers to drop a game back.
NFC West
The 49ers beat the Cardinals while the Rams defeated the Commanders. The Seahawks pulled off the upset of the Eagles on MNF.
