NASCAR is going to the Midwest and the Cup Series is racing at Gateway in St. Louis. DraftKings is rewarding the winner of Sunday’s featured fantasy NASCAR contest with a $100K grand prize. 1. Kyle Busch ($8,800) — World Wide Technology Raceway is a new track in the Cup Series. This will be the third race at Gateway. Busch won in 2023 with RCR and was the runner-up in 2022 with JGR.
2. Ryan Blaney ($10,800) — Gateway is a unique track. It’s a flat-banked intermediate track that almost races like a short track. Blaney is one of the best short, flat-track drivers in NASCAR. He’s scored over 60 DKFP in both WWTR races.
3. Denny Hamlin ($11,200) — Hamlin doesn’t have much experience racing at Gateway. He does have the best pit crew. Passing on the track is rare at Gateway. Making gains on pit road is not.
4. Kyle Larson ($11,000) — This track takes a specific skill. Larson has the skill for every track and every discipline of racing. He did not have a good car at Gateway in 2023 and still earned a top-5 finish.
5. Martin Truex Jr ($10,500) — The JGR Toyotas have been strong at World Wide Technology Raceway. Truex has a fifth- and sixth-place finish in the two Cup Series races at Gateway.

6. Joey Logano ($9,300) — Team Penske has also been strong in the first two Cup Series races at the intermediate track in the Midwest. Logano finished third last season and won in 2022.
7. Christopher Bell ($10,000) — A win’s a win. Bell got his first Cup Series win at a 1.5-mile intermediate track last week in the rain-shortened Coca-Cola 600. Bell has been fast. He was just unlucky. Looks like his luck is back.
8. William Byron ($10,200) — Hendrick Motorsports couldn’t match the speed of Kyle Busch, JGR or Team Penske at Gateway last season. Byron wasn’t far off. His 92 laps inside the top 5 were the fourth-most.
9. Ross Chastain ($8,200) — Experience might come in handy. Gateway has long been on the Truck Series circuit. Chastain won the 2019 Truck Series race at Gateway.
10. Brad Keselowski ($9,500) — The RFK Fords didn’t appear to have speed headed into the Coca-Cola 600. They figured it out. Gateway is a strategy race. There will be more figuring it out by a team that is good at figuring it out.
11. Ty Gibbs ($8,600) — He struggled at Gateway last season, but that was his first race in St. Louis. The 2024 version of Ty Gibbs is a whole new racer. He’s earned a top-10 finish in three of the last four races — all at intermediate tracks.
12. Tyler Reddick ($9,700) — The 23XI Toyotas suffered brake rotor issues in the 2023 Gateway race. If the gremlins are gone, it’s hard to bet against a Toyota that is routinely battling in the top 5 at intermediate tracks.
13. Chase Elliott ($9,900) — This could be a tough spot for Elliott. He missed this race last season. HMS already appears to be a step behind at this track. Elliott’s lack of experience could hurt performance this weekend.
14. Justin Haley ($5,700) — He’s hotter than Haley’s comet. Haley has earned Rick Ware Racing a top-25 finish in five straight (excluding Talladega). He finished 16th and 14th in the two Gateway races.
15. Austin Cindric ($6,200) — Team Penske adapted quickly to Gateway. Cindric has a pair of top-15 finishes in the first two Cup Series races at World Wide Technology Raceway.
