DraftKings’ main slate for Monday includes the first 10 games of the night. Below, I dive into three of my favorite DFS options to consider for this slate.

C, Daniel Gafford, Dallas Mavericks vs. Washington Wizards, $6,700
Gafford is a terrific target on Monday. Luka Doncic (calf) and Dereck Lively (ankle) both remain sidelined for Dallas. Having Doncic’s massive usage rate missing from the equation naturally boosts every Mavericks player’s role, and with Lively absent, Garfford handles a much bigger workload as Dallas’ primary big man. In the eight games Gafford has played with both Doncic and Lively inactive this season, Gafford has produced 34.4 FPTS in 28 minutes per game, including four efforts over 40 FPTS. The center scores 1.2 FPTS per minute with a 20% usage rate with both Doncic and Lively off the floor this season, and to put the icing on the cake, Gafford is in a dream matchup Monday against his former team in the Wizards.
Washington ranks fourth in pace and second-to-last in defensive efficiency this season. Furthermore, the Wizards are giving up the most rebounds and fourth-most points in the paint. This is a perfect spot for a center like Gafford. He should destroy his salary with over 40 FPTS.
PG, Keaton Wallace, Atlanta Hawks at Minnesota Timberwolves, $3,800
The Hawks present a very crowded injury report Monday. Five players are listed as questionable and, most importantly, both Trae Young (hamstring) and Jalen Johnson (shoulder) are out. Wallace has been recalled from the G-League with Atlanta so depleted and in the one contest the Hawks have played without both Young and Johnson this season, Wallace started and erupted for 53 FPTS across 38.3 minutes in an impressive 16-point road win over the Bulls.
Given the great result with him as a starter, Wallace should draw another spot start tonight and while this is a tough spot against a Timberwolves defense that ranks seventh in defensive efficiency, the guard should effortlessly out produce his near minimum salary. With both Young and Johnson off the court this season, Wallace is generating 1.2 FPTS per minute with a 21.8% usage rate.
C, Karl-Anthony Towns, New York Knicks vs. Memphis Grizzlies, $9,800
Towns’ excellent first season with the Knicks should continue in this up-tempo matchup with the Grizzlies. This season, Memphis is leading the NBA in pace, compared to the Knicks, who rank second-to-last. On DraftKings Sportsbook, New York boasts a 121.5-point implied team total and this game carries a huge 241-point total, which is the largest total New York has competed in this season.
With a 27.4% usage rate and a career-high 22.9% rebound percentage, Towns is amassing 1.5 FPTS per minute this season. Plus, for the nine occasions the Kentucky product has played in a total of at least 230 points, Towns has been a beast with 56.4 FPTS per game. Towns is an awesome spend at this sub $10K salary, and he will be further solidified as one of the best plays on the slate if Josh Hart (questionable, knee) sits. In the one contest the wing has missed this season, Towns went off for 72 FPTS against a stout Timberwolves defense.
