Ja Morant Injury Update: January 20 vs. the Timberwolves

UPDATE: Morant is available to play Monday vs. the Timberwolves.

Ja Morant ($8,400) missed Friday’s game due to foot soreness. He’s listed as questionable for Monday’s contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Interestingly, Taylor Jenkins changed things up on Friday. Scotty Pippen Jr. had been an auto-replacement for Morant when he’s been out. On Friday, Luke Kennard ($4,800) entered the starting lineup and played 26 minutes while Desmond Bane ($7,600) was the defacto point guard. Bane garnered a 25.7% usage rate and contributed 22 points, six rebounds, 14 assists and three steals, good for 57.5 FPTS.

Zach Edey ($4,100) left Friday’s game after seven minutes due to a nose injury. He’s off the injury report and should get the start.
