Zion Williamson Injury Update: January 20 vs. the Jazz

UPDATE: Williamson has been ruled out for Monday’s game vs. the Jazz, along with Yves Missi (illness), while Dejounte Murray (elbow) will play after being listed as probable.

Zion Williamson has played in only four of seven games since returning from a 27-game absence. On Friday, Williamson played only 23 minutes, but produced a robust 24 points, 14 rebounds, six assists and three blocks.

On Sunday, he was designated as questionable for Monday’s game against the Utah Jazz. There is no back-to-back scenario, as the Pelicans next play on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.

If Williamson is unable to go, then Javonte Green would likely get the start. Green played 27 minutes and contributed 13 points, seven rebounds, an assist and a steal on Wednesday with Williamson out.
