DraftKings, your paradise of DFS nirvana, has done it again with a new contest called NBA Starting 5. You select one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward and one center. There is no salary cap. The only stipulation is that you must select players from at least two different teams.
For Tuesday’s Starting 5 slate, there are seven games.
DAL, MIA, MIN and PHO are playing the second leg of a back-to-back.
As for injuries, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Seth Curry are probable. Dejounte Murray, Zion Williamson, Jordan Poole, Jalen Green, Lauri Markkanen, Carlton Carrington, Bilal Coulibaly, Gabe Vincent and Cam Reddish are questionable. Tari Eason is doubtful. Jalen Johnson, Jabari Smith Jr., Trey Murphy III, John Collins, Jordan Clarkson and Keyonte George are out. Keep track of all the pertinent injury updates at DK Live.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, the biggest favorite is HOU -9 over WAS. There is one game within 3 points: PHO -2.5 over CHA. There are two games with a total of at least 230: ATL/UTA (236) and BOS/DEN (236.5). There is one game with a total below 220: MIA/GS (218.5). Log into DK Sportsbook for the updates.

Point Guard
Trae Young has put up at least 50 FPTS in three of the last four games with a high of 60 FPTS. Jalen Johnson is out so Young will have more offensive responsibility on his shoulders. Utah is dead-last in defensive efficiency so Young should have no problems slicing, dicing and swishing his way to fantasy goodies.
Shooting Guard
Anthony Edwards has been frustrated by the constant double-teaming. On Saturday, he took matters into his own hands. Literally. Edwards attempted 31 shots and finished with 53 points and 65.5 FPTS. While a similar output is unlikely, he does get to face a Pelicans that is 28th in defensive efficiency and could be without Dejounte Murray.
Small Forward
With Jabari Smith Jr. injured, Amen Thompson was unleashed on Sunday for 49 FPTS in 41 minutes. Smith is out for a few weeks so Thompson should continue to start. The matchup on Tuesday is a fantasy-friendly one as the Wizards are fifth in pace and 29th in defensive efficiency. Can I get an Amen for a 50-burger?
Power Forward
LeBron James is 40 years old, but he’s still providing those fantasy goodies. Over the last seven games, he’s put up at least 55 FPTS in five. In the two games he didn’t, James finished with 41 and 45.25 FPTS. There is a red Q next to his name, but James is officially listed as probable on the injury report.
Center
Is Nikola Jokic on the slate? Then click his name. Easy game. Over the last four games, Jokic has put up 82.25, 83, 72.75 and 93 FPTS. There really isn’t much to say. Tony the Tiger would say that he’s grrrrreeeeeeaaaaaat.
