NFL Best Bets: Chiefs vs. Steelers Best Prop Bets for Christmas Day Week 17

The Kansas City Chiefs have the best record in the NFL, at 14-1 this season. Although they hold a two-game advantage over the second-place Buffalo Bills, they haven’t yet clinched the No. 1 seed. They will host the 10-5 Pittsburgh Steelers, who have lost their previous two games.

The Chiefs have won the last three matchups against the Steelers, and the two teams will play again on Netflix on Christmas at 1:00 p.m. ET. Kansas City is the -3 favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Steelers are +136 on the Moneyline, while the Chiefs are -162. The over/under is set at 43.5 points.

Xavier Worthy over 44.5 receiving yards (-125)

Worthy had seven catches for 65 yards and one touchdown against the Houston Texans last Saturday. Worthy has led the Chiefs in catches and targets in the previous two games. Worthy has had 11 targets in each of the last two games.

He has totaled more than 44.5 receiving yards in five of his previous six games. Worthy has hit this mark in seven of the 15 games he has played this year. But as the season has progressed, he has continued to build his connection with Patrick Mahomes. Although the Steelers have an above-average passing defense, they have failed to contain opposing receivers lately. Zay Flowers had 100 yards last week, with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith each totaling 100 plus yards in Week 15.

Getting Worthy to record more than 44.5 yards against the Steelers at -125 on DraftKings Sportsbook is excellent value, given how well he has played lately.

Deandre Hopkins over 33.5 receiving yards (-115)

With the Chiefs offense scoring 27 points for the first time since Week 12, it is wise to back a few of their skill players. Since Hopkins was traded to the Chiefs, he has led the team in catches among WRs with 39. Even though Hopkins doesn’t have the volume from when he was one of the best WRs in the NFL, he still possesses elite talent.

Hopkins on the Chiefs has been a seamless fit. He has recorded over 33.5 receiving yards in six of the nine games since the trade. He has also hit that mark in four of the previous five games. Mahomes and the Chiefs like to get as many receivers involved in the offense as possible, but Worthy and Hopkins are their two best WRs.

At 32 years old, Hopkins has shown that he still has some gas left in the tank;ย you can back him at -115 to record 34 or more yards against the Steelers.

Jaylen Warren over 57.5 rushing and receiving yards (-115)

Without George Pickens, the Steelers’ offense has had its ups and downs, but one bright spot has been the growth of Jaylen Warren. The RB affects the game on the ground and in the passing game. He had 92 total yards against the Ravens last week with five catches.

Yes, he only finished with 15 total yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15, but that is his lone blemish lately. Warren has had over 57.5 rushing and receiving yards in eight of the previous nine games. His production isn’t reliant on how many rushing attempts he gets because he has been a consistent part of the Steelers passing game led by Russell Wilson.

Warren is the Steelers’ most consistent playmaker with Pickens out. He is -115 to record over 57.5 rushing and receiving yards.
