Fantasy Football QB-WR Stacks: Top DFS Quarterback-Wide Receiver Picks for Week 17

Updated:

By: Ciaran Doyle

There are now only two weeks left in the 2024 regular season, which means two more opportunities to win a million dollars on DraftKings. Below are my four favorite QB/WR stacks for Sunday’s main slate.

4. Sam Darnold ($6,400)/ Justin Jefferson ($8,300), Packers at Vikings

These two are consistently in my top four stacks of the week, and for good reason. Darnold ranks eighth among quarterbacks in FPTS, while Jefferson is second among receivers. This duo would be a shoo-in for the top spot of the week if it weren’t for a tough matchup.

The Packers’ defense has been rock solid this year, ranking fifth against quarterbacks and fourth against receivers. This game will be played in a dome in Minnesota, which could present an opportunity for a big day. If this game was in Green Bay, the task at hand would be a lot more daunting.

3. Baker Mayfield ($6,900)/ Mike Evans ($7,500), Panthers at Buccaneers

The Bucks have a great matchup in Week 17 against Carolina. The Panthers rank 27th against opposing QBs and 12th against receivers. When these two teams matched up earlier this season, this duo had a big day. Evans finished with eight catches for 118 yards and a touchdown. If these two can replicate that performance in Week 17, it would go a long way toward your DraftKings lineups.

Evans needs 182 yards in his final two games to continue his 1,000-yard receiving streak, so that could be even more of a reason to get the ball to the future Hall of Famer. I think these two will have a big game against a struggling Carolina squad.

2. Tua Tagovailoa ($5,800)/ Tyreek Hill ($6,900), Dolphins at Browns

Hill is coming off two terrible performances in a row, but I still believe in him to deliver the goods this week. The Dolphins have a great matchup for fantasy scoring, as Cleveland ranks 11th vs. signal callers and 27th against receivers. Hill is too good of a player to have the season he’s having, and I truly believe he has one more great performance left for us.

The Dolphins have not been eliminated from the playoffs with only two weeks left, so they should be very motivated to play well and get a win. I think the Dolphins win this one, and hopefully, Tua and Tyreek are a big reason why.

1. Jalen Hurts ($7,500)/ A.J. Brown ($7,800), Cowboys at Eagles

This duo very much depends on the health of Jalen Hurts, but if he plays, they are my top QB/WR stack for Sunday’s main slate. The matchup is elite, as the Cowboys rank 31st against opposing quarterbacks and 24th against receivers. Despite the early injury to Hurts in Week 16, Brown still recorded eight catches for 97 yards and a touchdown.

Brown is averaging 86.9 receiving yards per game, the third-best mark in the league. As for Hurts, he is sixth among QBs in FPTS and is a threat to use his legs on any given Sunday.
