Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is the odds-on favorite to be named MVP this season, with -900 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook. With a masterful Week 15 performance against the Detroit Lions, in which he went 23/34 for 362 yards and two touchdowns and added 11 carries for 68 yards and two more scores, Allen not only solidified his chances of winning the award, he also made a fan’s day.
Every week of the NFL season, DraftKings Sportsbook is your No. 1 place to bet same-game parlays. With Allen’s big performance, one bettor had a “Crowning Moment” by taking home a huge bag after a four-leg Allen parlay hit.
A Parlay Bet is a bet placed on multiple outcomes to occur. Any Parlay Bet cashes when all outcomes within the parlay are selected correctly. You can learn more about how they work in the DraftKings Sportsbook How To Bet guide!
In this case, the bettor selected Allen to throw for at least 350 yards, rush for at least 60 yards, throw at least two touchdown passes, and score the game’s first touchdown.

The bettor’s great night started early in the first quarter, when Allen took a quarterback sneak one yard into the end zone to give the Bills a 7-0 lead just four minutes, four seconds into the game.
Buffalo’s hot start set the tone for the rest of the game; a week after the Bills and Rams scored a combined 86 points at SoFi Stadium, Buffalo’s 48-42 victory over the Lions was the highest-scoring matchup in the 2024 season so far.
The Bills scored on each of their first three drives to open up a 21-7 lead over Detroit. Then, after the Lions came within seven points after a Jared Goff touchdown pass to offensive lineman Dan Skipper, Buffalo made its first mistake of the game, with kicker Tyler Bass pushing a 24-yard field goal attempt wide right late in the second quarter.
Still, the Bills were cruising, leading 21-14 at halftime, with Allen throwing for 247 yards in the opening two frames alone. At the break, the bettor looked to be in good position to cash the passing yards leg of the parlay, but Allen had no touchdown passes and only 15 rushing yards.
The second leg didn’t cash until 11 minutes, 51 seconds remained in the game. After a 12-yard pass from Goff to running back Jahmyr Gibbs brought Detroit within 10, Lions head coach Dan Campbell opted for a risky onside kick instead of trusting his defense. The decision backfired badly, as wide receiver Mack Hollins returned it 38 yards to the Lions’ five-yard line. From there, Allen made Detroit pay with an easy five-yard toss to running back Ray Davis.
It was Allen’s second touchdown pass of the game, after a three-yard pass to wide receiver Khalil Shakir in the third quarter, meaning it cashed the second leg of the bettor’s parlay.
On Buffalo’s final scoring drive, Allen converted the last two legs of the bettor’s parlay on back-to-back plays. First, on the second play of the possession, Allen completed a 23-yard pass to tight end Dawson Knox, which brought him over 350 yards for the game. Knox made a ridiculous one-handed catch on the slightly overthrown ball:
Then, on the next play, he kept it himself, taking it around the left side for a 21-yard gain, crossing the 60-yard threshold on the ground and completing the wager.
With six minutes, 36 seconds left in the game, Allen had helped this bettor turn a $380 bet into a massive payout of $161,880.
