Bengals vs. Cowboys Predictions: Week 14 MNF NFL Picks

Earlier in the season, Bengals vs. Cowboys might’ve looked a lot more appealing on paper. But now, it’s just another battle of two sub-.500 squads.

For bettors, however, that’s not necessarily a deterrent. Monday’s Bengals vs. Cowboys contest still provides plenty of opportunities to cast predictions as Week 14 comes to a close.

Below, you’ll find a breakdown of Week 14’s MNF matchup, as we look through the betting splits from the moneyline, spread and game total predictions that have already been made for Bengals vs. Cowboys on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Game splits

Moneyline

With the Bengals (-230) being favored vs. the Cowboys, it’s no surprise that 84% of the moneyline bets have been placed on Cincinnati. What is a little more surprising is that those bets have only accounted for 78% of the moneyline handle.

Having seen 16% of the moneyline bets and 22% of the moneyline handle, the edge seems to go to Dallas here.

Spread

Cincy is the popular spread bet, as well. But with this play, the Bengals also have the sharp edge. Seventy-nine percent of the spread handle has gone toward Cincy covering, and on 72% of the bets.

With the spread topping out at 6-even and bottoming out at 5-even — where it sits now — after opening at 5.5, these splits carry significant weight. But, any further downward dip in the spread’s amount should call for revisiting the splits. With the Bengals ATS being the popular play and seeming to have a sharp lean, Cincy should not become a shorter favorite.

Total

After opening at 45.5, the total has gone all the way up to 50-even — peaking at 50.5. This movement tracks with 76% of the game-total bets and 74% of the game-total handle going toward the over.

But, the splits aren’t favorable for the over. Combine that with the total increasing as much as it has, the under may prove to be the better option if this number doesn’t get closer to its opening mark.

To close things out, here are a few trends to consider before making your Bengals vs. Cowboys predictions:

  • The Cowboys have given up the game’s first touchdown in each of their last seven home games. Going hand in hand with that streak, the Cowboys have lost the first quarter in each of their last seven home games.
  • The Bengals have won and covered in each of their last six road games vs. the NFC.
  • Brandin Cooks has 32 or more receiving yards in each of his last five Monday games. (Receiving yards O/U is 26.5.)
  • Jalen Tolber has at least 41 receiving yards in each of his last four performances that followed a win. (Receiving yards O/U is 26.5.)
  • In the last four games that the Bengals were favored following a loss, Chase Brown scored a touchdown.
  • The Cowboys lost the first half in each of the last four home games that they were the underdog.
