Opening odds for Week 15 of the NFL on DraftKings Sportsbook

NFL Week 14 is almost in the books, pending Monday night’s matchup, but the opening odds for Week 15 are up on DraftKings Sportsbook and it’s time to give a looky-loo.

No games in foreign lands. USA! USA! USA!

No more byes the rest of the way.

The Thursday night game is a good NFC West battle, as the Los Angeles Rams travel to San Francisco to face the 49ers.

The early Sunday slate consists of seven games. There is one double-digit favorite and two games within a field goal. There are two games with a total of at least 45 while there is no game with a total at 40 or below.

The late-afternoon slate consists of five games. Why can’t we have this every week? The largest favorite is 6.5 points while the other four games are all within four points. The highest total of the slate is in this window at 53.5.

The night game harkens nostalgic feelings as the Green Bay Packers travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks.

We are blessed with two Monday night games. Unfortunately, the caliber of teams playing isn’t of the highest quality, but that doesn’t mean there can’t be excitement.

Here’s the full list of Week 15 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. We will update it throughout the week.

Thursday Football, December 12

49ers vs. Rams

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
LA Rams+2.5 -108O 48.5 -110+114
SF 49ers-2.5 -112U 48.5 -110-135

The Rams are a scary team because they can beat anyone on any given night. They can also lose to anyone. In Week 14, they took care of Buffalo by putting up 44 points. In Week 4, they lost to the Bears. The 49ers stopped their three-game losing streak by dominating the Bears at home in Week 14. Now they host a red-hot Rams team that they know intimately. The NFC West is still wide open with only two games separating top from bottom.

Sunday Early Games, December 15

Browns vs. Chiefs

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
KC Chiefs-5 -108O 45.5 -110-230
CLE Browns+5 -112U 45.5 -110+190

The ridiculousness of the 2024 Chiefs season continued, as they squeaked out another last second victory in Week 14 with a field goal that clanked into victory. But I see that even the Matrix is having difficulty keeping composure, as the Raiders and Chargers were the last two opponents, and it couldn’t keep track of which teams were based in Los Angeles. So, the Matrix just made both games 19-17 victories for Kansas City. Cleveland has only three wins on the season, but at least Jameis Winston is leading and providing offensive optimism.

Titans vs. Bengals

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
CIN Bengals-5 -110O 47.5 -110-218
TEN Titans+5 -110U 47.5 -110+180

Cincinnati has lost its last three games, but those were against the Ravens, Chargers and Steelers. The offense hasn’t been the problem, as they put up 34, 27 and 38 points. They allowed 35, 34 and 44, though. Well, they get the face a Titans team that lost to the Jaguars, 10-6, in Week 14.

Saints vs. Commanders

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
WAS Commanders-7.5 -112O 43 -110-355
NO Saints+7.5 -108U 43 -110+280

Washington is coming off its bye and 42-19 thrashing of Tennessee the prior week. While it’s unlikely they catch the Eagles for the NFC East crown, the Commanders are well positioned to earn a Wild Card spot. It was a Pyrrhic victory in Week 14 for the Saints, as they defeated the lowly Giants, 14-11, but possibly lost Derek Carr to a fracture in his left hand. That’s a week after losing Taysom Hill.

Giants vs. Ravens

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
BAL Ravens-14.5 -115O 43.5 -110-1000
NY Giants+14.5 -105U 43.5 -110+650

The Ravens is coming off their bye and now they get to practice against the tanking bag that is the New York Giants.

Panthers vs. Cowboys

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
DAL Cowboys+1 -110O 43.5 -110-102
CAR Panthers-1 -110U 43.5 -110-118

The Cowboys are a one-point dog to the Panthers? If you would have said that prior to the season, a strait jacket would’ve been applied with a one-way ride to the looney bin. It’s baffling how fast and dramatic things change in the NFL.

Jaguars vs. Jets

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
NY Jets-3.5 -105O 40.5 -110-175
JAX Jaguars+3.5 -115U 40.5 -110+145

The Jets and Jaguars both have three wins on the season. L. O. L. Winner of this game gets to keep the J.

Texans vs. Dolphins

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
MIA Dolphins+3 -115O 47 -110+124
HOU Texans-3 -105U 47 -110-148

Houston is coming off its bye and looking to build some momentum for the home stretch. The Texans have been decent and sit atop the AFC South, but the offense has regressed from last season. Miami is starting to hum once again, as it’s won four of the last five games and scored over 30 points in three of the last four.

Sunday Late Afternoon Games

Broncos vs. Colts

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
IND Colts+3.5 -105O 44 -110+150
DEN Broncos-3.5 -115U 44 -110-180

Denver is third in the AFC West but well within the playoff picture because, outside of the division leaders, only the Chargers and Broncos have a record above .500. That’s nuts. Indianapolis is coming off its bye, but it has a tough task going into Mile High to take on a team that is one of the more balanced units in the league.

Lions vs. Bills

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
BUF Bills+2 -112O 54 -112+105
DET Lions-2 -108U 54 -108-125

This is the highest total on the slate by a wide margin. Despite the Bills dropping one to the Rams in Week 14, they are still one of the best teams in the league. This is a potential Super Bowl preview.

Eagles vs. Steelers

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
PIT Steelers+5 -110O 43 -112+190
PHI Eagles-5 -110U 43 -108-230

Pittsburgh is 10-3 and sits atop the AFC North. Philadelphia is 11-2 and sits atop the NFC East. The Battle of PA is another potential Super Bowl preview.

Cardinals vs. Patriots

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
NE Patriots+6.5 -115O 46 -110+210
ARI Cardinals-6.5 -105U 46 -110-258

Seems like only yesterday when Arizona was leading the NFC West. After dropping three straight, with two of those to Seattle, they are now third. It’s going to be tough to overcome that, but they get New England and Carolina over the next two weeks before closing with the Rams and 49ers. New England is coming off its bye and has won only three games this season.

Chargers vs. Buccaneers

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
TB Buccaneers+2.5 +100O 46.5 -110+120
LA Chargers-2.5 -120U 46.5 -110-143

After losing four straight to Baltimore, Atlanta, Kansas City and San Francisco, Tampa Bay has won their last three. Shoutout to the schedule makers because they feasted on the New York Giants, Carolina and Las Vegas. But now they face the Los Angeles Chargers, a team that isn’t exciting per se, but they are well coached and tough in both trenches.

Sunday Night Game

Seahawks vs. Packers

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
GB Packers-3 +100O 47 -110-148
SEA Seahawks+3 -120U 47 -110+124

I’m old enough to remember when the 12th Man was a thing for Seattle. This season? Apparently not, as Seattle is 3-4 at home while being 5-1 on the road. Green Bay is coming off a tough loss to a division rival that happens to be one of the best teams in the league. Detroit came into Green Bay and strutted off with the 34-31 victory. The Packers have lost four games this season but never two in a row.

Monday Night Game, December 16

Vikings vs. Bears

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
CHI Bears+7 -110O 43.5 -110+260
MIN Vikings-7 -110U 43.5 -110-325

After winning four of the first six games, there was optimism in Chicago. The Bears have now dropped the last seven and get to face a red-hot Vikings team. Minnesota has only two losses on the season, has won six straight and are coming off a game in which Sam Darnold threw five touchdowns.

Raiders vs. Falcons

Odds on Sunday, December 9

SpreadTotalMoneyline
ATL Falcons-4.5 -110O 44.5 -110-230
LV Raiders+4.5 -110U 44.5 -110+190

Atlanta has lost four straight, but it is only one game back of the NFC South crown. This will likely be a home game for the Falcons in Las Vegas. The Raiders have two wins on the season, have lost nine straight and have Aidan O’Connell starting at quarterback. Those season ticket holders will be seeing what they can get on the secondary market from Falcons fans.
