With 6:45 left in Thursday’s game against the Sacramento Kings, Morant was guarding DeMar DeRozan on the block. DeRozan rose up for a midrange jumper and Morant contested with both arms straight up in the air. Unfortunately, he was called for a foul and then assessed a technical foul for showing emotion. That was his second technical foul of the game so he was ejected.
Prior to exiting, Morant contributed eight points, three rebounds, seven assists and a block in 28 minutes.
