Trevor Lawrence is out for the season with an AC joint injury, so what can you expect from Brian Thomas Jr. and Evan Engram with Mac Jones under center?
Jones has officially started two games this season, one against the Vikings and one against the Lions. He finished with 124.5 yards per game, no touchdowns and three picks over that time frame. However, he had his best game of the season filling in for the injured Lawrence last week, throwing for 235 yards and two touchdowns after T-Law exited the game.
In Week 14, I would rest all Jaguars’ skill position players if possible. Not only do they have a new signal caller under center, but they face the best pass defense in the NFL as the Titans only give up 171.8 pass yards per game. I do not think Mac Jones can do any better than Trevor Lawrence in terms of fantasy production for his skill position players, so I would say bench all Jaguars wideouts and tight ends until further notice, especially for this tough Week 14 matchup.
