Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks at Toronto Raptors ($11,400) — Jam him in. The Mavs smoked the Wizards by 36 points on Thursday. Doncic was limited to 32 easy minutes. He scored 58.5 DKFP in the blowout. In the two prior contests, he dropped 72.25 and 70.5 DKFP in closer games. That was after returning from injury. Doncic is on fire.

Payton Pritchard, Boston Celtics vs. Memphis Grizzlies ($5,600) — It’s an embarrassment of riches. Boston is deeper than the Atlantic Ocean. Pritchard was always a spark. He could hit threes off the bench. His defense has improved in his fifth season and he’s a Sixth Man of the Year candidate with his increased role. The Celtics are in the middle of a five-game stretch across eight days. The rotation is open and Pritchard is balling — 35 DKFP or more in the last five games with a high of 45.25 DKFP on Dec. 2.

Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors vs. Dallas Mavericks ($9,500) — “No one cared who I was until I put on the mask.” Barnes started wearing glasses a couple of weeks ago. He’s averaging 23.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 7.9 assists ever since. Being able to see helps. Being a 2023-24 All-Star helps. Being the 2022 Rookie of the Year helps. Why doesn’t Barnes get the respect he deserves? That changes now. It’s hard to disrespect a distinguished man in glasses.

Peyton Watson, Denver Nuggets at Washington Wizards ($4,400) — This could be an ugly game. Watson and the rest of Denver’s second unit could get extra run. Even without the additional minutes, Watson could return 6x value against the weak Wizards with a depleted rotation.

Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets at Washington Wizards ($12,100) — How does the joke go? Will the Joker embarrass the Wizards and hit? Or is the joke on you — He hits but sits? The fear of a blowout is real. The Wizards play fast and bad. The Joker will unleash the one-liners. He’s scored over 69 DKFP in three straight games. Jokic could hit that number in three quarters against the Wizards. Four quarters would be better. Everyone could use the laughs.

Mason Plumlee, Phoenix Suns at Miami Heat ($4,200) — The Suns’ frontcourt is thin. Plumlee’s role has elevated over the last two games. His minutes are up and his fantasy points are up. Plumlee is just below a fantasy-point-per-minute provider on the season. He’s been producing over that vital number over the last two weeks.
