The Suns’ best player, future Hall-of-Famer Kevin Durant, has played in the last three games after missing seven due to injury. Durant has played in 12 games this season, averaging 26.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game. Here is my favorite prop bet for Kevin Durant against the Spurs tonight.
Kevin Durant over 2.5 three-pointers (+100)
For a 6’11” forward, Durant has been an elite shooter throughout his career, but he has taken it up a level this season. Durant has made 43.4 percent of his three-pointers, his best since he shot 45 percent during the 2021-22 season.
He is attempting 0.9 more three-pointers per game this season than he did a year ago. In his first three games back from injury, Durant has made more than 2.5 three-pointers in each contest. Durant has also hit that mark in his last five games and six of his previous seven.
Since returning, Durant’s scoring has been inconsistent, totaling 23, 30, and 21 points. Getting Durant’s over 2.5 three-pointers at +100 on DraftKings Sportsbook is an excellent value play. It was surprising to see Durant’s over in threes being plus money considering how well he has shot the ball from long range lately.
Overall, Durant has played in 12 games this year and has hit this total seven times. In his first game back, he only played in 30 minutes, but his minutes have continued to increase in the last two contests. As Durant gets back to full strength, his scoring and shooting will likely improve.
