Alvin Kamara is having another really solid season despite the Saints having a lot of struggles as a team. He now ranks 11th in the league in rushing yards and has also been a threat out of the backfield. The Saints rank 6th in EPA/rush and 9th in rushing success rate. They can move the ball on the ground against basically anyone and should be able to do so against the Rams as well.
This is a good matchup for Kamara against the Rams. The Rams rank 26th in defensive EPA/rush and 21st in defensive rushing success rate. They have also struggled against the pass, ranking 24th in defensive EPA/dropback. The Saints had an offensive explosion for 35 points against the Browns and then the bye week so they should be feeling good coming into this game. They have had two weeks to look at what went right in that game against Cleveland and then try to carry that momentum into this game after the bye week.
My favorite Alvin Kamara prop for this game is for Kamara to go over 14.5 yards on his longest reception. He has had a reception of 18 yards or more in four straight games and should find a lot of success against this shaky Rams defense as well. The Rams are giving up 8.5 yards per catch to opposing running backs, the seventh-worst mark in the NFL. The Saints should be able to establish the run well and that will set up the play-action pass to Kamara and he should be able to break one loose, going over this longest reception number for the fifth straight game.
