There was no basketball on Thursday because of Thanksgiving. Did you miss it? Don’t fret! It’s back in a big way on Friday. There’s games on all afternoon long and it all culminates in a seven-contest featured slate on DraftKings that tips-off at 7:30 p.m. ET.

SG Ja’Kobe Walter, Toronto Raptors at Miami Heat, $3,000
Look, I’m not going to sit here and say that Walter is going to score 40 FPTS in every start he makes, but the fact that his price tag has not risen from the bare minimum is all you need to know about his viability on Friday. Starting in place of Gradey Dick (calf) on Wednesday against the Pelicans, Walter registered 14 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in 27.5 minutes of action. Now, this was a lopsided script in a matchup with a New Orleans team that ranks 28th in defensive rating (118.2). It won’t be so easy versus the Heat. However, Walter was surprisingly aggressive in just his fifth-career game. Only Scottie Barnes ($8,500) and RJ Barrett ($8,300) had a higher usage rate than Walter’s 26.1% figure. Heck, you could even say he’s due for some positive regression, as Walter shot only 2-for-10 on threes. If the rookie starts again, get him in your lineups. Don’t overthink it.
SG/SF Tyrese Martin, Brooklyn Nets vs. Orlando Magic, $3,000
Another bare minimum value asset? I told you this was Black Friday. Martin exploded into the public consciousness on Wednesday evening, dropping a career-high 30 points off the bench in the Nets’ surprising victory over the Suns. While I’d usually have my doubts that he could do it again, there’s suddenly a chance that Martin is a primary scoring option for Brooklyn on Friday. Joining Cam Thomas (hamstring) on the bench will be Dennis Schroder (personal), who led the Nets’ starters with a 34.4% usage rate versus Phoenix. That leaves a massive void in Brooklyn’s rotation. Honestly, it might even be enough to make me consider Ben Simmons ($5,300), as he’ll surely be tasked with running the half-court offense. The former lottery pick did register 38.25 FPTS against the Suns. Don’t dismiss him completely.
PG/SG Cason Wallace, Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Lakers, $4,100
As of writing, it is unclear if Jalen Williams ($9,200; eye) is going to suit up in this game. If he doesn’t, his absence, alongside the continued absence of Chet Holmgren (hip), would open up a ton of usage in the Thunder’s rotation. We got to see this play out in the second-half of Wednesday’s win against the Warriors, where Wallace logged 19.9 of a possible 24 minutes with Williams unavailable. That didn’t translate into a whole lot of shots for the former first-round pick — it never does — but Wallace did wind up with 33.5 FPTS thanks primarily to six assists, three blocks and two steals. Wallace does a little bit of everything. If Williams and Alex Caruso ($4,200; hip) are ruled out Friday, get him into a couple lineups.
